Smoothies

RaspberryProtein Smoothie

Serves: 1  | 10 Minutes

Frozen raspberries blended with yoghurt and Zeagold egg white for a quick-fix protein snack.

1 pottle (150gm) raspberry non-fat or low-fat yoghurt
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/4 cup Zeagold egg white
1/4 cup orange juice

Place yoghurt, raspberries, Zeagold Egg White and orange juice in blender container; cover. Blend on medium speed until smooth. Pour into tall glass.

Berry Fruit Smoothie

Serves: 1

1 cup Zeagold egg white
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, blueberries or raspberries

Optional:
You can also add one of the following:
1/3 cup low fat yoghurt
1/3 cup orange juice
1/3 cup skimmed milk

1.    Combine all the ingredients in a blender.
2.    Blend on medium speed until smooth.
3.    Serve immediately.

Tropical Fruit Smoothie

Serves: 1

1 cup Zeagold egg ehite
1 fresh ripe mango or ¼ fresh pineapple
Juice of 1 lemon

1.    Combine all ingredients in blender.
2.    Blend on medium speed until smooth.
3.    Serve immediately.

Vegetable Zing Smoothie

Serves: 1

1 cup Zeagold egg white
1 ball frozen spinach, thawed
½ stick celery, sliced
½ teaspoon grated ginger

Optional:
You can also add one of the following:
½ cup low fat yoghurt
½ cup skimmed milk

1.    Combine all ingredients in blender.
2.    Blend on medium speed until smooth.
3.    Serve immediately.
